Fast help when your eyes need it most

If you experience a sudden problem with your eyes, our same-day urgent eye care provides quick assessment and guidance. We can treat many common problems or arrange rapid referral if hospital care is needed.

Common urgent symptoms we assess

  • Red, painful or gritty eyes

  • Sudden blurred vision or new floaters/flashes

  • Light sensitivity or watering

  • Suspected infection or allergic reaction

  • Minor foreign bodies, styes, or eyelid issues

Emergency red-flags: If you have severe eye pain, sudden loss of vision, a chemical splash, or a penetrating injury, call the clinic as soon as possible for urgent advice or an emergency appointment, or go straight to A&E for urgent help outside our opening hours, or call 999. For urgent advice outside hours, you can also call NHS 111.
